Starting in November, the Fatlanders will be hosting group rides every Thursday at 6:30 pm, meeting at the Nutrien Wonder Hub parking lot.
Rides last between 1 to 2.5 hours, with routes chosen based on wind, weather, and trail conditions. Please equip your bike with both front and rear lights—keeping the rear light steady rather than flashing for group visibility—and dress in layers to stay comfortable as temperatures change.
This is a social ride, with two groups to accommodate different paces: one for a leisurely ride and one for a quicker pace. Come out and join us for some winter riding fun!
Once there’s enough snow, we may head to the groomed fatbike trails at St. Barbes for some rides. After each St. Barbes ride, we sometimes gather for a social at Sports on Tap, where bikes can be kept safe inside.
To stay updated on specific plans, join our Facebook page for day-of ride posts, as winter weather often leads to last-minute changes.
Some riders may start from different locations in Saskatoon, typically following this schedule:
- 6:10 pm – Nutrien Wonder Hub
- 6:30 pm – Gordie Howe Bridge
- 6:45 pm – Blue Pipes parking lot
