Beginning in November Fatlanders leads group rides every Tuesday at 6:30pm and every Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm meeting at the old Mendel by the Riverboat Queen launch.
The rides vary in time depending on weather conditions but can be anywhere from 1-2.5 hours. The route we take is often determined by wind and weather/trail conditions.
Be sure to have appropriate front and rear lights (put rear lights on steady rather than flashing for the ride) and be prepared for the weather with additional layers if required.
This is a social ride, usually with two groups; a more leisurely and then faster group. Leaders and sweeps have walkie talkies to ensure the safety of the group.
