Saskatoon offers an extensive trail network for year-round riding, and winter is no exception. For dedicated winter trails, check out our club-maintained and groomed trail system at the St. Barbe Winter Trails—perfect for a smooth and scenic experience in snowy conditions.

On the west side of the river, from Nutrien Wonderhub north to the Silverwood Trails, you’ll find popular paths frequented by snowshoers, providing a well-packed, accessible ride within city limits. This route is a favorite for our group rides, blending easy access with beautiful views.

If you’re up for more technical winter riding, drop into the east side trails from the University Bridge and head toward the Sutherland Trails. These boot-packed paths mimic the feel of summer mountain biking and offer a more challenging ride for those looking to test their skills.

Another excellent winter destination is the River Ridge mountain bike trails, where groomed winter paths range from beginner green trails to more challenging blues. With XC ski trails, a sledding hill, and a variety of trail options, it’s the perfect spot for family outings and riders of all levels.
